The bluebird carries the sky on his back.

There is a saying that our family I am kinda skeptical about.

The fact that when you go outside of the house for Good Friday, something’s gonna happen to you.

Well, it did.

Woke up late cause classes were cancelled. I had work that day about 1200.

So I ate lunch, then headed straight for the subway station. Just my luck, the metropass was just been cancelled this month so I have to pay my ride with coins.

Got there, started working. About an hour into my shift, I was cleaning a very sharp object, not a knife. For some unknown reason, I accidentally pressed my thumb into one of the sharp blades. It felt like a scalpel penetrated my thumb. It didn’t hurt, but blood was kinda gushing out. FYI reason why because the thumb has a bagillion blood vessels. Cut was 1 cm long. Probably 2 mm deep? I dunno.

So being the guy that is used to getting cut, I just let the blood flow out for a couple of seconds, about a minute or so. Funny thing is, when I saw my blood coming out, I felt somewhat of a nausea. I keep asking myself, “How much blood was already exiting? WTH?

Cleaned the wound with a alcohol swab. IT STUNG LIKE HELL!!! After letting the blood flow out, I reached for the med kit at the storage room. Just my luck, no bandaid. So I had to resort to drastic measures. Got a medical gauze and a medical tape, and made a make-shift band-aid around my thumb. Lol Primitive but effective.

So work pressed on. It got busy during 1400. So I wasn’t able to finish the last part of my prep. WAY to busy for a good friday.

About 1500, while I was prepping meat, I just prayed the rosary on top of my head. Imagine rolling a gazillion meatballs, measuring each to 5.33 oz while praying the rosary. Now that is multi-tasking.

Got out of work by 1700. Headed home.

About 1730, I cooked instant noodles. Just my luck, there was no instructions how to make the noodles. And how much of a noob I am, I put the noodles first into the water even before putting it over the flame to boil… ummm yup I do not know how to cook instant noodles. Oh well I was able to manage to pull it of.

About 1800 I slept through the night.

Woke up around 0000 to pray the rosary with mom and my sister. Some prayer notes of mom were missing. So she asked mitzi to find it while my sister was searching for it at the coffee table. Super funny that mitzi went to the coffee table, got up, and it looked as if she was pointing to some papers where the missing notes might be. Cute pooch.

After the rosary, washed dishes, broke a glass. Then came up to my room.

WTH. Now I think that curse is true… o.O
